Most of our websites are custom designed although we do sometimes use templates depending on the budget and our clients industry. We create custom designed websites that are visually appealing and also easy to navigate. We start with a discovery meeting to learn more about your business or nonprofit and then create a custom design showing how the homepage will look. If a logo is needed then we can also design that at this time. Our projects typically include unlimited revisions but most projects only require 2 – 4 rounds of revisions.
Web Development
In addition to website design we also are experts at web development. Our preferred content management system is WordPress and we use that for most of the websites that we build. WordPress is the most popular content management system and provides an easy to use administration area for updating content. It also has a wide ecosystem of plugins that allow for easily extending the functionality. So we can easily add in membership areas or e-commerce functionality. When an existing plugin doesn’t exist we also can create a custom plugin to provide additional functionality. When WordPress isn’t a good fit for a project we typically turn to the Laravel framework which allows us to build completely custom solutions.
Website Hosting
At Pinpoint Digital we do our own hosting. While many other website design companies simply resell other hosting we have invested in our own infrastructure to enable us to provide very fast hosting.
Digital Marketing Services
Many of the businesses that we work with are looking for more than a brochure website. Their goal is to grow their business and see the Internet as an important source of leads. We provide a range of digital marketing services.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): We specialize in optimizing websites to enhance their visibility through search engine optimization.
